Assuming the drive letter assignments remain the same, this is FAR easier than before. So instead of having to navigate to each folder in Total Commander and then running the sync comparison command, I now just start SyncToy and click on the sync I want. I have one for my BIAB original songs to my portable SSD drive another to back up the entire My Documents folder etc. However, the nice thing about SyncToy is its ability to save the names of common syncs you do. Total Commander can still be free, but to get rid of the start screen, you buy a one-time license (I bought mine in 1997). It was written as a free replacement for the old Norton Commander. I've been able to compare and sync two directories for decades using a utility called Total Commander by Christian Ghistler.
